With Halloween only two weeks away, my kids have FINALLY decided what they'd like to be. Since most of our costumes are homemade, once a decision is made, fabric & items are bought, you have to stick with your choice. No more changing your mind! It's easier said than done, kids are always wavering back and forth with ideas based on what's in their heads that second.
My usually ever-so-Halloween husband has yet to decorate the yard/porch for a great trick-or-treat night scare for the neighborhood kids. He's been a little more busy this year and has yet to put out his frightful findings. Plus, our middle daughter has been squeamish this year and asked that daddy "tone it down" with his horrors. I think this is the real reason my front yard doesn't resemble a haunted house. It's more pumpkin patch theme thanks to our garden pumpkins.
In my search for frugal craft projects for the kids to do, I came across a few I'd like to share. Some would be great to suggest to your child's teachers, and I may just do that as well.
There are SO many fun kids craft projects out there. These are just a few of my favorites.
